My work is a visual exploration of postmodern fictional narrative. It falls into this tradition by embracing non-linearity, self-reference, and appropriation, while at the same time desiring to tell a story. Formally my biggest influences are early to mid 20th century painting, renaissance and northern renaissance painting, and pop culture imagery such as graphic novels, animation, and book illustration.
